Moyola has invested heavily in its CADCAM capability over the last few years. Having eight on-site CADCAM programmers enables the company to attract large work packages that other competing companies would not have the resource to support.

In addition to Catia v5, Vericut is used to simulate all the CADCAM processes using virtual models of our machines, reducing the risk factor to the company’s equipment and increasing the opportunities of a right first time experience due to the deployment of the Autodiff module.

Moyola utilizes Icam’s Quest developer’s kit to produce our own highly intelligent machine post processors in-house to ensure machine efficiency and to facilitate the production of very complex components.

Additionally Moyola also employs seats of Open Mind Hypermill and Solidworks as well as being able to support old legacy programs using Catia V4 and Mastercam.

All of the CADCAM programmers are graduates of the company’s apprenticeship program and have experience in aluminium, steel and titanium machining. They are skilled in the use of the company’s machine tools and as a group take a hands-on approach right from the start of an assigned project implementing a smooth process through the production environment and ultimately on to the customer.
